During AI season, we bring in the cows every day in the AM to sort off the morning's breeders, do our AI and then sort off the evening's breeders. We all enjoy it, especially the girls since they can really be a big help. That's Laura Cate riding with me. The Lab in the photo is averse to work however and can usually be found underneath a shade tree. Right in front of me is Hambone though, and he LOVES to work cattle. He's in the next photo.

You can't wear out that dog. One morning, we gathered cattle all morning then after lunch, I needed to get in a pretty long training run as I had a race coming up. I almost didn't let Hambone go with me because I figured he'd had enough for one day. But I relented and off we went. A couple hours later, I dragged my carcass in the farmyard with dog in tow. He quickly ran to get his fetching stick. I threw it 3 times for him before I told him I'd had enough. He kills me.
